The summer hasn't all been about me hiding and sulking away like a small rat. We had a glorious late June and July with almost continous sunshine. The pub, the village and Somerset were like a small peice of heaven for about 6 weeks as we slowly roasted in the sun and made tons of money.
I have to say that I half expected either Patrick or KoTH to wander in at some point and baffle the Polish staff by asking for "Limey". However the only visitor that we have had was one of the regulars, not Billy Boy, from the pub in Salisbury who, being an alcholic, tunned up in the expectation of a free boozing session on a Saturday evening. As the pub was full of the local landed gentry at the time, he was given one free drink and then told to move on elsewhere.
It was hectic but great fun, or at least sitting here on a cold grey and wet August (?) afternoon, it seemed like fun.
Sunny but rather boring? Be sensible! You are dying to change everything and start again with smth that is anything but quiet and would bring you excitement rather than money! I say you should start thinking of a plan!

I sure wanted to come. I just have not had the time. I have even made the comment to Maryna that I should just show up in your pub. Last month I got a email from a discount seller and it was $234.00 USD from Dulles to Heathrow. I wanted to push the buy button real bad.
